The Hero’s Journey is based on archetypes that are recurring patterns of human behavior, symbolized by characters in esoteric metaphors, myths, movies, and stories throughout the ages. We all have our own unique myth and Hero’s journey for each lifetime and over lifetimes. Laura and Bernhard go through each step and cycle of the Hero’s Journey in detail while reflecting on their life experiences and lessons, tying them into the process of awakening and individuation. It will help you to reflect on your life as well.

Understanding the bigger picture of the Hero’s Journey gives us insights into what we need to learn and where we may be stuck, for there are dead-ends in the journey, like the “refusal of the call” [which a lot of people get stuck in] or we don’t get to move on until we have learned and integrated specific lessons, among many other traps and matrix temptations vectoring us off the path.
